Infants

Developmentally, infancy is a period of your child’s development when they are learning the most about their world. By twelve months they have developed habits, coordination, logic, object permanence and language. At eighteen months most children have learned how to set goals for themselves (i.e. walking across the room to push the knob on the t.v. to turn it on), and are becoming more creative in reaching their desired results.

Sounds kind of like a little adult in the making, huh? By age five many psychologists believe that a child’s personality has fully developed, and they soon move on to learn how their temperament will impact the world around them. This is why we believe all babies and infants need the appropriate physical, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual stimulation to aid in this early development.

At Aspen Creek Academy our goal is to foster such a stimulating environment for the development of your infant. We aim to incorporate the intellectual, emotional and social needs of your child into our daily involvement with them. Therefore, we offer classes such as sign language for children as young as 6 months to help begin communication and interaction with their world.

Our knowledgeable and nurturing staff is passionate about your infant and their development. Likewise, it is our desire to build a safe, comfortable and fun place for them to come…kind of like a home away from home. Daily reports will be given to you so that you can see what your child has done throughout their day.
