Our staff are some of the best and brightest the city has to offer.
Our lead instructors have Early Education classes and meet all state licensing requirements. Our teachers are trained in CPR and First Aid. Each teacher has real world experience with leading premiere child care classes and are trained extensively to provide your child with a fun learning experience.

Renee Cussins, Director Renee has worked in early childhood education industry since 2000.  She has taught children from ages 2½ through 13 years old. Renee has her director’s license and and has been a Director of a Christian Childcare center since 2006. Renee loves working with children and has been a part of Aspen Creek Academy since June 2008.

Doreen Wiechert - Assistant Director

Doreen has been at Aspen Creek since it opened, in August of 2007.  Doreen has worked in Early Childhood Education since 1989 and received here director's license in 1999.  She has taught all age groups, as well as been a Director and an Assistant Director.  She is married and two young sons, who attend Aspen Creek Academy.  Doreen enjoys traveling, reading, stamping, and anything related to Disney & Mickey Mouse-but mostly spending time with her family & their 2 dogs.

Daisy Hernandez- Pre-Kindergarten

Daisy is a people person and makes every family feel welcome at ACA.  She has been working with children for 18 years with experience in the classroom and the kitchen. She loves working with children by teaching them every day lessons.

Cyndi Seymour- Infant Room Supervisor

Cyndi has been working in childcare for 28 years. She ran a licensed daycare in her home for about 7 years. She has years of experience working with babies, and she does a great job! Cyndi is so much more than a “baby-sitter”. She is constantly talking to, reading to, and playing with the babies, which aids in their individual development. We love having Cyndi here to care for the babies!

Ann Maya- Infant Room

Ann has a wide range of childcare experience. She worked for 20 years with special needs children in a speech and language center in California. She worked at Kingdom Kritters for 2 years before moving to Aspen Creek where she has been with us since the beginning. Ann is married with 3 children and 3 grandchildren. Ann is a nurturer at heart and does a great job making the babies feel loved and cared for.

Amanda Grimshaw - Early Preschool

I have been in the childcare profession for three years. I have been with Aspen Creek since my now three year old daughter was five months old and I love it here very much! The families and staff here at Aspen Creek are like a big family and it has been wonderful to be able to watch the children grow and develop. I am group leader qualified and look forward to continuing with my Early Childhood Education classes to further my professional development. It is my goal to become director qualified and someday direct a center. I very much enjoy the childcare profession and look forward to making this my lifelong career. I look forward to serving you and your family and caring for your precious children.

In addition to my daughter, we have an adorable baby boy who was just born in July of 2011. I have lived in Colorado most of my life and enjoy many hobbies, from camping, shopping, traveling, reading, and anything involving my own kiddos!

Billie Jo Richards- Toddler 2

Billie went to Arapahoe Community College, where she has taken several early childhood education classes. She began working with children when she was in high school, where she worked in a childcare center and as a nanny. She has years of experience working with children that compliment her education. She loves working with children. She is a very patient and loving individual. During her free time, she likes to hang out with her family and go to her children’s sports events.

Samantha Usinger - Early Preschool

Samantha is a junior at Metro State, currently studying history and religious studies. Samantha received her group leader qualifications at Metro as well. She has been working in childcare for four years and loves working with children while she is in school. She started working at ACA in January 2010 and loves working with the Early Preschoolers.  In her free time she enjoys baking, basketball, and spending time with her family and friends.

Brianna Hernandez - Pre-Kindergarten

Brianna was born and raised in Denver, CO. She has been working with children in a preschool setting for three years. Brianna is currently attending Arapahoe Community College to become group leader qualified. She is a firm believer that children are a gift from God and they are our future. Spending time with children is a blessing.  Brianna’s desire is to help in developing life long good habits in school and life. Brianna has been with Aspen Creek since October 2008.

Beth Himes-Preschool 1

Beth is a Denver native. She graduated with an associate’s degree in ECE at 19. She has worked with children ever since- in preschool, home daycare, as a director and teacher and as a youth sports coordinator for the YMCA. Beth has 4 sons, 1 daughter, & 5 grandchildren. Beth creates a loving, nurturing environment. She is wonderful at singing and interacting with the children, as well as helping them grow and learn. Beth has been with Aspen Creek Academy since August 2009.

Melissa Sagrillo- Preschool 2

Melissa is a married mother of 3 children. She has worked with children since she was twelve, where she babysat and taught Sunday school. Melissa began working in early childhood education as an assistant teacher in 2005. She quickly found this to be her passion and began taking ECE classes at Arapahoe Community College. Melissa is currently working towards getting her degree in Early Childhood Education and receiving her director certification.

Jeanne Meyers- Pre-Kindergarten

Jeanne Meyers is a native of Colorado. She has one grown daughter, one grandchild, and five step-grandchildren. Jeanne graduated from Regis University with her Bachelors in Social Sciences. She taught early childhood classes for five years, where she worked with children with developmental disabilities. She also worked teaching kindergarten and elementary classes for 8 years. Jeanne is a gifted teacher that has been with Aspen Creek Academy since July,2007.

Vicki Marosey - Cook

Klarissa Lopez- Elementary/Front Desk

Klarissa graduated from Dakota Ridge High School in 2006. She is one of the youth leaders here at the Littleton campus of Church for all Nations and is very involved. She loves working with the junior high and high school students. Klarissa loves to play sports and has always loved working with kids. Working here has made Klarissa want to work with kids or go into youth ministry as a career! She has been with Aspen Creek Academy since 2007.

Veronica Dargan

I am native of Colorado and love all that this state has to offer! I love spending quality time with my two children that I am so very blessed to have. I have been working with children for 23 years from religious education, public school settings, and preschool/childcare facilities. I received my Director Certificate in 1998 and continue to take classes in early childhood. I love teaching and watching children grow and learn about life, friendships, and God!

Linda Christiansen

I have been in the childcare profession for about 30 years. I have worked in centers and also owned and operated a home day care in California and Colorado. I have 18 units in Early Childhood Education and am currently taking another class at ACC. I absolutely love being a part of a child's growth and development and am truly blessed to be a part of your child's life.

I have been married for 34 years and have 2 beautiful daughters and 4 adorable grandchildren who I love spending time with. I work part time at Sports Authority Field at Mile High for Bronco home games and other fun events that take place there. I enjoy reading and scrapbooking and doing anything with my family.

Robin Grabher

My adventure into the world of chilcare began at an early age. When I was 10 my mother worked in a group home for disabled children and I would ride the bus after school with the children and help my mother while she was working. I remember the way these children warmed my heart and made me smile every day. At the age of 12 I took my first babysitting course and have been working in childcare ever since. I have had my group leader certificate for 9 years and can truly say that I love my job. I am a mother to a wonderful 4 year old little boy and spend my time away from ACA playing trains and exploring the world through my child's eyes.

Linda Labnow

Hi my name is Linda Labnow, I have been teaching children for 25 years and love it! I received my Early Childhood Education in California at West Valley and Piece College in the 80's. Children are my passion and I truly believe they are all a gift from God. I cannot imagine doing anything else. I have two daughters in their 30's and two granddaughters age 11 and 15 and a grandson that is almost 4. When I am away from ACA I spend most of my time with family, at church or home with my two dogs and grandchildren, having fun. I also love doing arts and crafts and walking around Johnson Lake at Clement Park.

Angela – Infant room

I am a Colorado Native. I have been married since 2002 and we have two children. I have been working in childcare since 1996. I took my Early Childhood Education courses through Arapahoe Community College. My favorite age group is the Infants because they learn so much in such a short amount of time.
